Gary Treisman
President and CEO
Mr. Treisman started Machinery Network in 1987 and managed, appraised, and sold over $1 billion worth of machinery and related industrial assets. As the machine sales industry has grown, Gary created Machinery Network Auctions to working with clients to auction or liquidate their surplus assets. Gary received his education at University of the Witwatersrand. He was a stock broker from 1982 to 1987. Gary sat on the board for Location Machinery and has held several leadership roles in multiple business organizations. He is an active member of MDNA (Machinery Dealers National Association) and AMEA (Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers).
Eric Raffin
Vice President of Auction Services
I recently joined Machinery Network Auctions after 7 years as founding partner and Managing Member of a successful, post-conviction, sentencing and criminal trial consulting firm in Los Angeles. Prior to that, I spent over 20 years in executive level sales and marketing. I graduated with honors from UCLA and earned my law degree from Loyola Law School. With my background and experience, I bring a fresh and dynamic approach to providing MNA’s new and existing clients the service and professional attention they have come to expect. I’m originally from Oregon, but I’ve lived in Los Angeles since 1984 and I’m proud to say that I plan to forever call this wonderful city home.
Edgar Gomez
Marketing Coordinator
At Machinery Network Edgar works closely with the sales team to ensure the flow of new and sold inventory is accounted for with daily checkups through our salesman and their clients. He is also responsible for the marketing and advertising of inventory in various print and web metalworking and manufacturing related publications. When I’m not working on the company’s marketing efforts, he is working with my own team building up our start up clothing brand Il Bred Collective which is still in its R&D phase but has managed to gain sales in the USA & Japan. Edgar strives for innovation and exceeding expectations as displayed in his personal and professional life. Machinery Network has helped him learn the principles to proper business to business handling, exceeding the expectations of clients, and to not take the easy route.
